Patronize this Novena Square Outlet as we were visiting at Mount Elizabeth. Decided to get the Bundle Deal for 6 @ $14. We purchased 3 each of the Pon De Ring Chocolate and Strawberry priced at $2.50 each. Only when making payment, did we realized that the Bundle Deal is only applicable to a maximum of Qty.04 Pon De Ring. We were fine with it and paid for our purchase before getting on our way. However, we felt that this exclusion should be clearly displayed or stated on their Bundle Deal advertisement. We did not see any such exclusion clearly stated anywhere at the front of the outlet where you queue to place your order and make payment. The exclusion is also not explicitly shown on their website. We were also very disappointed with the rude staffs and poor attitude. We will definitely not be patronizing Mister Donut in future. If you want to advertise your bundle deals, please also clearly state the exclusions as well. Don’t make the customers felt ridicule for not knowing. Do train your staffs on the basic of customer service. Courtesy goes a long way.
Staff is rude while ordering. I was new to try out the chewy donuts. Not so happy with the experience overall. Donut is good. Tried the matcha cream and two pon de ring choco and matcha.
I have always enjoyed mister donut for its quality. However there was this particular staff who was extremely rude serving us ; we had ordered a bundle of 10 and was choosing the flavours and suddenly she shouted how many. After telling her ; she went on to throw my donuts on the tray.I don’t usually give negative feedback however I don’t think this is professional. I would compliment the other two staff working with her for handling the crowd so well. They were polite and calm.
Was around the area and decided to give it a try since it was recommended by some friends. I am not particularly a donut person, but overall I do like the taste and texture of their donuts.However, I find that it is just good and nothing to wow about. So it isn’t something I will make an effort to go for.

Consistent quality even when compared to what you get in Japan. Now that the hype has died down a bit it’s easier to get the donuts, especially the pon de ring ones. There’s usually a short queue and the staff are always trying to serve the customers as soon as they can. Just that sometimes there’s too many combinations of different promotions that they have to explain to the customers, which takes a while.
Super lucky today to encounter donuts past closing time (see the time-stamp on the receipt!). Thankful for the staff who worked OT to sell the donuts and jin happy to try matcha flavour 🐽🐽
You're expecting overly sweet because of known donut and it wasn't. I was so's surprise! It taste good different from other donut, it's fluffy, fresh, soft and really nice to eat, specially the ring one with strawberry on it. Definitely coming back to have some again.
This outlet from the popular Japanese donut chain is well received with long queue especially during lunchtime. There is a small 20-seater café area where you can enjoy your doughnuts alongside freshly brewed coffee and tea. Most popular is the “Pon De Ring” glazed mochi doughnuts which are soft and chewy
Donuts are less sweet and noticeably lighter and airier than the American brands. Prefer this type as it’s less cloying. However, this shop has a strange rule. Bought three donuts to be wrapped separately for three different kids but was told they could only provide two paper bags for the three donuts. Next time to make mental note to get all three kids to purchase one donut each by themselves at the counter.
Date of Visit: Sat, 27 Jan, past 1pm.Finally came to visit Mister Donuts at Novena after the Jurong Point pop-up store. 2 female and 1 male staff were at the counter area. But it was not a most pleasant experience.I was with my friend and when it was my turn to order, the male staff skipped me and went ahead to ask my friend her order. So I thought never mind, I can order mine with my friend to cut the hassle for your staff. When I asked for my share to be packed separate from my friend's order, your staff has to repeat "one person only 2 bags of donuts". Yes, our order were within 2 bags, there were 2 of us and we were all ready to pay separate or together if need be. All I asked for is for my share of 3 donuts to be in a separate bag from my friend's share of 5 donuts because we were heading away after buying. But the staff out of his insistence is hesitant to pack my 3 donuts separate into a 2nd bag and had to pack mine mixed with my friend's.First, I do not understand what is the fixation with limiting each customer to 2 bags when you have a clear signage outside your store that each customer is limited to 30 pcs. Second, your staff clearly don't understand the customer's needs and is merely trying to move on to the next customer after pushing the limit. (If you can pack 30 pcs of donuts into 2 of your tiny flimsy paper bags, by all means, but which I doubt so.)I asked your female payment staff for the name of the male staff who served us, she say it's her first day and she's not sure while appearing nervous. I was appalled by the brushing-off attempt. Efficiency is one thing, trying to appear efficient is another. The male staff name seems to be Jen or somewhere along the line. Perhaps it's not a one-staff problem now. You do know people try to know the staff names for both feedback and compliments?We all give and take when making purchases, but doesn't mean we have to be taken for granted.Mister Donuts is famous in Japan not just for the taste but also the efforts made to make the day for the customers. Go into their stores and you feel happy coming out.For this SG outlet, your staff do not pride themselves on their service and have they wondered how their service made people feel? as expected there is a line. but service is fast and staff is efficient. we bought a lot cos its what my daughter wanted for her birthday. no cake, just Mr Donut. we sat down for a hot drink after getting the donuts. the drinks are just normal drinks. i won't recommend getting the drinks unless you really needed something to wash down the donuts with. the donuts defn dont keep for more than 1-2 days. best consumed on the same day. maybe the next morning/afternoon. they get pretty gross beyond that.

Decent donuts at a decent price, worth a try if it's off-peak and you can avoid the queue.I recommend the strawberry glaze, which was possibly the least synthetic, most natural-tasting strawberry glaze I've had. The chocolate glaze was just alright.
[Dec 2023] First time here after the initial hype is over. Not much of a line now even during peak lunch period. Service is fast.Their unique signature pon de rings are a must get - these are my favourite kind of donut that’s light and chewy.Was initially hesitant to try their donuts cos of the low google rating, but i think most of them are because of the long queue when they first opened. Will always be back to get more rings when I’m in the area 👍
I finally joined the queue this afternoon after seeing a shorter queue around 4 p.m. I ordered 10 donuts (the bundle offer was $23), which is slightly less expensive, and you may choose up to 6 'Pon De Ring' donuts.The Pon De Ring donut has a moderate sweetness level and is fairly chewy. I still like my doughnuts, the old-fashioned way, covered in chocolate, sugar, or cookie cream.The RE&S team is in charge of Mister Donut. As a result, you might gain membership points by purchasing the donuts.
Actually the cream bun style one was the nicest of the lot to me. The Mochi ring was chewy if you like such texture you will enjoy it but not so much for me.The strawberry frosting was the nicest to me second after the cream filling one.But the basic sugar glaze was one of the best plain flavors. I think if I had only one choice I’d eat the cream filling one but if I wanted something less rich, I’ll have the sugar glazed one.A bit pricey for the small snacks like donut made of only flour & sugar.Don’t eat this often and no need to line up got this. It’s not that wonderful to make me wait.
My most favorite donut shop in Japan!Finally I came here after I waited for so long cos queue was always crazy. I ordered strawberry fashion. It taste good, but not worthy to queue for more than 5 mins.Good thing here is you can seated and enjoy their donut with their drinks.Their ice latte also not bad!

Why the heck would do you display matcha pon de ring until 2nd June if it’s to be sold out since last week? Why would then the other matcha flavours be available if ingredients out of stock? Doesn’t match rather contradicting
$14 for six donuts ! If you have the RE&S rewards card you can use it to gain points too. To be very honest it is not worth the queue hype, but anyway the staff are really fast at serving and really nice, so the long queue shortens quickly. They are known for their mochi donuts (pon de rings) , the matcha one is not bad but I would say just get all the strawberry glazed ones and you won’t go wrong with your choices 🙃 the strawberry pon de ring is the best and has a chewy texture if you are into chewy donuts. You can’t really taste the custard in the custard ones, I thjnk Krispy Kreme is still better, but worth trying once in your life to judge if it’s worth the hype
Long queue but it moves fast. Matcha pon de ring has a great chew to it, while being strong in flavour and yet not too sweet. Reminds me of chewy junior a little. Matcha cream filled donuts were oily and wasn’t fluffy. Matcha old fashion has a strong oil taste to it. Only the parts coated in matcha were nice.
The donut is wonderful, my family loves mochi. I feel that the food is just amazing to eat. I love donuts, but mochi with donuts is so much better. The staff are good.

This is my first time purchasing your donut; however, the customer service was horrible. The front counter girl blamed me for taking the wrong items without checking if the item was mine. If she doesn’t know how to work in customer service, she shouldn’t work at the counter. Next time, check the item before issuing the correct one. Don’t blame it on the customer! It's so stupid for a staff member to blame a customer. I’m glad there was a nice auntie who helped me with the purchase

New matcha flavour !!! Waiting time is short compared to months ago. When it used to be 1-2 hours queuing, and now only 1-2 pax ahead and decided to get just 1 donut.Tried the other flavour before and all was kinda new and interesting. And it’s kinda surprising that mister donut is not that sweet compared to others. Good to try out! Service is good!
The POS system took me very long to get the receipt.Purchased $92 of donut, the staff invited me to join membership, took me another 20 mins to keep entering my personal info, turn out the system have problem unable to sign up.Been buying donut few times, definitely WILL NOT go back again .............. !!!!!!!
Now that the crazy queues are over, limits on donut purchase has been raised to 30. Would recommend the strawberry pon de ring and strawberry old fashioned.

One of the best donuts I have savoured so far. It is as good as the ones we ate in Japan. My favourite are the old fashion and French cruller. Although they do not have the Pokémon characters donuts like the ones I had in Japan. All their donuts are still good for satisfying my cravings. Yummy donuts!!! Ganbatte kudasai. Arigatou!!
hmm, the donut itself were delicious, chews but there is some limitations of order which making people confused. And you gonna stand there a little bit longer cause they have to explain to you.That’s the only downside to me.Guess I won’t visit the very often, that doesn’t bother me
The queue was not long today, and we I decided to check out Mister Donut.We ordered Pan De Ring, Pan De Ring Chocolate.and Angel French. Each donut cost around $2.50.I did not find any special with the Angel French, but the Pan De Ring version of the donut is worth the try if you like mochi texture.
The donuts definitely gotta live up to the rave n popularity standards👍🏻 However, they may need to improve on their service and packaging. I bought 4 donuts and they were all just packed into a single paper bag without any handle carrier. It is indeed very inconvenient plus silly to bring the donuts around to continue my shopping.
Custard donut is good! The filling is creamy and thick. I tried the angel cream also but it taste a bit normal, not as good as the custard one.

Their custard cream is also fluffy and enjoyable.I tried their strawberry chocolate and it's not really up to par with their pon de ring. It tastes more like damp oreo cake with overly sweet strawberry sauce on top. Their spinny things (Angel french) with whipped cream inside is also meh.Overall its great to try their different flavours for $2.50, which is decently affordable compared to other donut chains. 10 for $23 is a great deal as well. Im pleasantly surprised at the staff carefully arranging the donuts so that their chocolate coatings will not touch each other. They also have separate paper bags for you. Fast service at 4pm with 6 people in the queue!
There’s a queue on a weekday afternoon around 3pm. I didn’t have to wait long. I managed to get the donut after 10mins. They are selling 6 for $14 or any 10 for $23. They also limit 4 pon de ring per customer per transaction. I had 4 pon de ring, 1 angel French and 1 custard strawberry.
There is a wide variety of donuts and most people bought the ponder Ring(maybe spelt wrongly) they cap it at 4 per customer. Do check again when you are at the store. It is a bit chewy though. I bought the plain ones. It tasted very plain but with other flavours topped with it, it is nice. I also bought the Angel French Crueller and it is very sweet. Good for young people but not so for the elderly I feel. I think the queue will shorten as the months go by but at the moment, because of the write ups by bloggers, it will remain long for now. I was happy to queue up for only 15 mins but the hot sellers always run out first. I might buy again later this year when the queue gets shorter😜Pictures 5-7 are not from the shop but in Slovenia. The donuts were awesome and if I may say, it was better than Mister Donut.😃
